Entry for Sentinus Young Innovators 2023 has now closed.

Sentinus Young Innovators provides an opportunity for young people to exhibit science and engineering project work and have it assessed for a range of awards.  All STEM projects are welcomed and you can enter project work which has been carried out within curriculum time or as an extra curricular activity.

Entry is open to all students in Years 8 – 14 who have carried out a project in science, technology, engineering or maths.  Students compete, as individuals or groups, at three levels:

  • Junior – 12 – 14 years old;
  • Intermediate – 15 – 16 years old;
  • Senior – 17 – 18 years old.

If students in Yr 13 wish to enter GCSE project work completed in June 2023 they will be allowed to compete in the Intermediate category.  Students will compete for a range of awards at the event.

This year, Sentinus Young Innovators will take place on 24th October at the Whitla Hall, Queen’s University Belfast.  If you would like to enter your STEM project for Sentinus Young Innovators and to compete for awards, please complete the registration form below.  Entries should be submitted by Wednesday 18th October:
