Sentinus delivers a wide range of programmes, for young people of all ages, to give them exciting and rewarding experiences in the STEM subjects and inspire them to consider careers in these areas.  The programmes, which encourage the development of links with business and industry and enrich the learning experience for pupils, are designed to support the delivery of the curriculum, engage students in practical problem solving activities, research and development and investigative projects.  Although focusing on science, technology, engineering and maths they also give significant opportunity to enhance employability and personal development through problem solving, team working, target setting, mentoring, working with adults and independent learning.

Sentinus has a rich history of development of new STEM programmes to meet a range of needs and help address skills shortages in a range of sectors.  All our programmes are designed to give pupils a taste of real science, technology, engineering and maths, with a relevance to the world of work.  They also encourage innovation and creativity and promote problem solving skills.  For easy reference, please download our List of Programmes available to schools, or continue to browse the website.

If you don’t find the programme which addresses your needs, please contact us and we will be able to assist you.

Many thanks for the Software Development Roadshow, it provided the students with a compelling, problem solving context that stimulated their minds and reinforced their understanding of java coding. The students told me they enjoyed the experience greatly and I am hoping that it has inspired them to give further consideration to a career in software development. It was very worthwhile participating in this roadshow.

I think this is a superb opportunity for our young people, and I know it will help them enormously with their studies for A-level and their future careers.

I would like to express our thanks for the delivery of an excellent ‘Experiences of Work’ programme. All of our pupils enjoyed the information session and have certainly gained great knowledge about various careers and the world of work. I must say, I am loking forward to working again with Sentinus in the future to enrich the NICHS Careers programme.

Teacher, Newtownabbey Community High School

I enjoyed using the robots and the computer to program them. I also enjoyed watching the videos and learning about the Air Bus. It was a brilliant morning and my opinion has definitely changed on engineering. I never thought I would really enjoy STEM subjects and you have changed my options for a future career. Thank you very much.
