Primary STEM Roadshows
Target Group: Years 6 - 7
Primary STEM Roadshows are one day programmes hosted by a secondary school, engaging approximately 60 Key Stage 2 pupils in interactive problem solving activities. A range of activities is available to cover science, technology and maths. Participants work in teams of three to solve a series of challenges, supported by trained sixth form mentors.
The activities are presented through a themed multi media presentation. Skills addressed by activities include:
• Teamworking • Problem solving • Time Management • Leadership • Goal setting.
