Special Needs STEM Roadshows

Target Group: Years 7 - 12

These are interactive science and technology days delivered to pupils with special educational needs within their own school.  Throughout the day pupils work on a range of problem solving activities, supported by trained sixth form mentors from a local post primary school. 

The emphasis is very much on hands-on, stimulating activities, using K'Nex construction kits and other basic technology materials, which are appropriate for children with mild to moderate learning difficulties.  Up to 30 pupils can participate in each roadshow.
