STEM Ambassadors

Target Group: Years 7 - 19   
 


STEM Ambassadors is a national programme, coordinated by STEMNET, which encourages local scientists, engineers and mathematicians to volunteer to work with schools and colleges. There are many opportunities, provided by a range of delivery organizations as well as directly by schools, for STEM Ambassadors to engage with young people at all levels. Ambassadors are asked to register on line and complete a Criminal Records Bureau check to safeguard children.

The programme is managed in Northern Ireland by Sentinus. Ambassadors currently support a wide range of programmes and activities with schools and young people throughout the Province.
