Insight Into Engineering for Boys

Target Group: Year 13

Aimed at 16 - 17 year old boys from schools and FE Colleges throughout the Province, this four day programme aims to increase awareness of career opportunities within science and engineering and allow them to make informed decision by giving them the opportunity to visit both local universities and have a close look at their chosen discipline of engineering by spending two days on placement with an engineer from a local company. Included as part of the programme is the chance for students to meet and talk to young role models from local companies and universities.
