This year, we are working in collaboration with Digital DNA (http://digitaldna.org.uk/) to deliver 15 road shows in schools based around Entrepreneurship and Digital Technologies. The road shows will introduce the students to the world of digital technologies and how these technologies can help businesses to succeed. The students then come up with an idea for a new Mobile Application in our Ideas Generation session! Following on, the students will be introduced to designing and developing Mobile Applications that could change the world!
Leading on from the road show, we ask the schools taking part to choose four groups of students to bring to the Digital Futures Celebration Event which is taking place on Wednesday 14th October 2015 in Belfast City Hall. Using the skills that they gained during the road show, the students are going to bring their business idea’s to life, by developing a prototype of their App for their new business. We will have 60 groups of students working on their projects over the next number of weeks and they will bring their work to show off at the Celebration Event.
Digital DNA have organised a number of fantastic prizes for the winning groups including trips to London and San Francisco to visit some of the leading businesses and universities in the world of Digital Technologies!
